Diagnosis Original: "Genre de la famille des Thikidées, dans l'ordre des Stomoblépharés de la classe des Microscopiques, caractérisé de la sorte n°. 61 , à la pag. 534 du présent volume, où, par erreur typographique, nous avons écrit Trichocerque (voyez ce mot): corps en fourreau très-musculex, terminé par une queue articulée et composée. Cette queue rappelle, par sa conformation, la partie potérieure de certaines larvés de Libelluioïdés. Nous n'en connoissons qu'une espèce constatée, qui présente déjà, par ses formes, quelques rapports avec certains Rotifères du genre Ezechiéline."Amended, after Luo & Segers (2013) [Ref.363702]: "Body, including head and foot, loricate; head retractable, foot only partly retractable. Trunk lorica hexagonal in cross section, facetted, granulated, longer than wide, with parallel lateral margins in anterior part of the trunk. Head aperture nearly as wide as the trunk." [details]
